The Gallery of West Bohemia in Pilsen utilizes for exhibition purposes two historical buildings in the downtown – the former medieval market place, after 1972 the exhibition hall “Masné krámy” and the reconstructed Gothic and Renaissance house No. 13 in the Pražská street. Challenging program of exhibitions, publishing
activity and quality of collections rank it to the most prestigious domestic art museums and galleries. The exhibition halls introduce short-term exhibition projects. The gallery also manages one of the most important Loos interiors, Semler’s residence, which is a part of the Adolf Loos Pilsen sightseeing tours.
