A medieval fortifi ed small town surprises the visitor by its vast square, today a unique dominant of the city monumental zone. With an adapted park and area of more than two and half of hectare it is one of the biggest and nicest squares in the Bohemia. For the last twenty years a lot was changed. The road bypass around the city has considerably diverted the transport, the sewage system, gas pipeline, the extension of elementary school and the construction of sport hall were realized.
