The municipality Krásný Dvůr is 5 km distant in the north-west direction from the town Podbořany in the District Louny.
The oldest records of the community come from the end of the 13th century. The baroque castle from the beginning of the 18th century with English park, where many romantic constructions are built there, dominates here. However, the historical records highlight uppermost the old aristocratic family of Černíns. The municipal library is open for public in the municipality. The active voluntary Fire brigade is working here for many years, the clubs of fi shermen and hunters are here. Nowadays, the municipality, together with adjacent six settlements, includes approx. 700 inhabitants. The municipality Brody – the baroque castle with a chapel sacred to St. Barbora were built here in the 18th century, the municipality Chrášťany – chapel of St. Jan Nepomucký, the municipality Vysoké Třebušice – the baroque chapel of St. Anna from 1750, the municipality Chotěbudice – no monumental object, suitable as the holiday resort, the municipality Němčany – a chapel built by citizens in 1844, the municipality Zlovědice – the baroque church of St. Michael from 1750.
