Mies van der Rohe’s most important building from the years 1929–1930, Villa Tugendhat in Brno, is a UNESCO monument since 2001.
Movable windows, 29 pillars and walls made of onyx or Macassar ebony. Modern space with minimum of decorations, designed by the motto „less is more“, inspires architects till today. The villa was rebuild to its original state by experts during 2010-2012.
