The town Ceská Lípa is located in the foothills of the Lusatian Mountains on the banks of the river Ploucnice. This region is a combination of natural romance and magic of preserved monuments. The town with beautiful conservation area is also a crossroad to the Mácha Lake or Holand Ponds. The Water Castle Lipý was opened in 2003, and the Textile Printing Centre opening followed in 2011. Cultural events are represented by the traditional Town Feast or the Lípa Musica Festival. The beauty of nature can be seen in the National natural monument Peklo with wild valley and sandstone rocks or the Natur-Educational Trail Špicák and Hubert Trail on the town periphery. The town remembers even the cyclists and offers them quality cycling tracks.
