A charming village with beautiful view onto a large territory of The South Moravia.
A pictorial village distant 30 km from Brno at the feet of the Czech-Moravian Upland with 240 inhabitants, known mainly by the newly built lookout “V. Menšíka” with amazing view onto the South Moravia. Hlína is an old settlement from the younger Stone Age owning the seal from 1600. You can see here the church from 1794. The preserved terraced character of fi elds is the best preserved one in the South Moravia. Well-known and visited are the open-air theatre performances in summer. The village has an active social life and therefor it was awarded in a competition The Village of The Year 2010 of the South Moravian Region.
