The Museum of the Bohemian Forest in Tachov (Public-Benefi t Corporation)
The regional Homeland Museum in former franciscan monastery you can visit the exhibition of the history of the Tachov district. In the exhibition of nature you can see the beauties of the Bohemian forest, and in the vivarium you can see the alive amphibians. The exhibition of the ethnography presents the regional costume parts, the folk furniture and functioning musical instrument and orchestrion. The life-size wooden sculptural group of the Last Supper attracts your attention in the former monastic refectory. Open all year round.
